A good showing of sixteen racers turned out for the 2009 NASTE Season opener. The race was hosted by Bryan Trachsel at his Butterdish Speedway. The cars of the night were HO T-Jets specially prepared by race-master Bryan.

NASTE IROC Race No. 2

NASTE Point Series Race at Doug Hayne's Pelican Park in Eugene. This will be an IROC race with 1/24 scale Can Am cars built by Doug Haynes. The Big NASTE Race Format will be used. Doors open at 10:00 AM for practice. Racing at HIGH NOON. Coffee and donuts will be provided in the morning. There will be chips and munchies on hand through the day. Bring your lunch and favorite beverages. Pelican Park's kitchen facility is equipped with an electric skillet, microwave oven, and a small refrigerator. NASTE Halloween Race

This race will be held on Jeff Courtney's 1/24 track in Portland. The rules are simple; Halloween theme race cars must run on their own power without damaging the track (usually just a matter of having sufficient ground clearance). Cars cannot be so wide as to prevent other cars from passing. Uh, that's about it! Doors open at 5:00 pm. (TOOBAD Motorplex in Fairview is the alternate track location for this race).

PSSRA 4-Hr Enduro

The Puget Sound Scale Racing Association will be holding the fourt in the Professor's 4-hour Enduro Series Saturday, December 6. The Enduro is an IROC style event and teams are based on qualifying times. They have a fun track and race without magnets at 10-11v with a fuel management system. They put on a great event and it's worth the drive.
